Winners of Collaboration/Project of the Year at Devon Business Awards 2025

Representing Recycle It Global (RIG), Oscar Milverton Gatta, Jason Zymelka, Edward Parker, Daniel Fisher, Philippa Sherrell, Evan Dungay, Alisha Harris, Brooke Blake, Jesse Chevrolle, and our esteemed guest Richard Allan, Chief Executive & Harbour Master for Cattewater Harbour Commissioners, were proud to attend the Devon Chamber of Commerce Business Awards this month.

It was an incredible night celebrating the extraordinary innovation, impact, and entrepreneurial talent that continues to shape the South West.

We’re thrilled to share that Recycle it Global (RIG) was shortlisted for two awards, and we’re even prouder to announce that we took home the win for Collaboration/Project of the Year for our flagship initiative – RIG Scorrier.

This award means so much to our entire team. At RIG, collaboration is more than a principle – it’s the engine that drives everything we do. RIG Scorrier exemplifies what can be achieved when organisations align around a shared purpose. What began as a bold idea has grown into a powerful reality, built on genuine partnerships and an unwavering commitment to creating sustainable solutions.

RIG Scorrier wouldn’t exist without the support and contributions of our many collaborators from local authorities and environmental regulators to haulage companies, plant hire partners, and on-the-ground innovators who brought their time, expertise, and belief to the table. Each stakeholder has played a critical role in turning complex challenges into measurable, lasting impact.

To our partners, supporters, and the wider community, thank you for walking this journey with us. This recognition belongs to all of you. It’s a reflection of what we can accomplish when we work together with purpose.

We’re energised by this achievement and excited for what lies ahead. With RIG Scorrier paving the way, we’re more committed than ever to scaling our impact, deepening our partnerships, and continuing to push the boundaries of what’s possible in circular innovation.
